• Mrs. Cindy, the Whittier, Ca. Family Child Care Provider, Preschool Owner, and Program Director has been educating infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children for 35 years in center based child care programs.

• She has Directed /Managed School District Child Care, Preschool, Head Start, School Aged Programs, as well as Early Head Start and Infant Care Programs serving 2600 children and supervising 220 staff in child care agencies for over 20 years throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. She started her Licensed Family Child Care, providing a home like environment to children in 2013.

• Family Child Care provides lower student to educator ratios than a center based preschool program.

• Children receive an individualized, and personalized education based on your child's needs, interests, and abilities.

• Weekly planned lessons and a consistent but flexible daily schedule are provided.

• Daily use of developmentally appropriate activities using the High/Scope Educational Approach-research and evidenced based curriculum for 3-12 year olds and Tender Care and Early Learning Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers (6 weeks-3 years).

• All meals and snacks are provided at no extra cost  

• Math and Literacy Activities are provided to children each day

• Daily Homework help for school aged children Monday-Thursday which relieves parents of that task. Parents can enjoy more quality time with their children at the end of each day

• Social-emotional development and communication are at the heart of the program.

• Frequent Fun and Educational Field Trips, Park Trips and Nature Walks are conducted throughout the year.

• Transportation from Whittier and La Mirada schools for School Aged Children is included at no additional cost.

• Mrs. Cindy has an A.S., a B.A, and a Masters Degree in Child Development, and the staff have 25 years working with school district programs.

• We provide the flexibility needed for pick up and drop off times for working parents and those that need a break here and there.  Parents with flexible work/school schedules and longer hours in care are OK in this program which makes it unique from traditional center based care and/or other Family Child Care Programs. 

• We serve children in Whittier, La Mirada, La Habra, Santa Fe Springs, Norwalk and surrounding areas.

• We are a proud participating partner with Quality Start Los Angeles (QSLA programs and Quality rating and Improvement System-QRIS)-that provides fantastic incentives, classroom materials, program leadership coaching, ongoing facilitation and supports, and trainings to participants enrolled and working in this program, even offsetting college costs for staff taking college coursework.
